What happens when things don’t go as planned?

I think that many people would like to think that they are open to change. Whether or not this is true can be easily tested. See how they react to things not going how they wanted. It turns out many of us are actually only open to change within the parameters of getting some version … Continue reading What happens when things don’t go as planned? →

The problem with planning

Despite knowing that the best laid plans often go awry, we often still find ourselves meticulously planning for the future. However, like all things, planning is great but only in moderation. What I love about writing on thedailygemm is that I can look back and remember the inspiration behind certain posts. Sometimes writing is just a way for me to work through a difficult situation, instead of getting caught up in the moment, I put the focus on finding a solution or looking at things from a different perspective. Haven't been writing on this blog lately. Instead I've been going to a weekly writing class and working on articles for something new. I love it when my most popular posts are also some of my personal favourites. September 2022 August 2022 July 2022 I that I'm able to write things that will be helpful to read months or even years later. Top posts from May last year. When I write from personal experience and it resonates, I always think, this is for us. It's for me being able to express myself and something that you can relate to.
