What’s in a (brand) name?

Clubhouse.io (a project management platform) recently announced that they would soon be changing their name to Shortcut. I think a big reason for this was to not be confused with the audio based social media app also called Clubhouse. My initial thought was that changing the name was risky because even if nothing else changes, … Continue reading What’s in a (brand) name? →

Value and oversharing online

In the age of social media it's easy to overshare. You can go from sharing behind the scenes of your business, hobby or creative work to showing people what you ate for breakfast, how you ruined your manicure and asking for suggestions for your new hair colour. For some people, it works, they like sharing … Continue reading Value and oversharing online →

That's a great way to … Continue reading Making a mountain out of a molehill →

What I love about writing on thedailygemm is that I can look back and remember the inspiration behind certain posts. Sometimes writing is just a way for me to work through a difficult situation, instead of getting caught up in the moment, I put the focus on finding a solution or looking at things from a different perspective. Haven't been writing on this blog lately. Instead I've been going to a weekly writing class and working on articles for something new. I love it when my most popular posts are also some of my personal favourites. September 2022 August 2022 July 2022 I that I'm able to write things that will be helpful to read months or even years later. Top posts from May last year. When I write from personal experience and it resonates, I always think, this is for us. It's for me being able to express myself and something that you can relate to.
