Getting unstuck

If you’ve done it once, you can do it again.

Being able to work through something that feels challenging requires a certain frame of mind. The part of you that is wallowing and believes that this is the worst possible thing, is not the part of you that can figure out the best next step.

And so, when you sit with the feeling of self pity or being down and out, you remain stuck.

In these moments, it’s important to know what can help shift your mood or perspective. However, sometimes even when you know exactly what to do, you still don’t do it.

In those cases, you probably just need a little more time to wallow until you get sick of yourself and come to the conclusion that something has to give.
