The new normal

Right now things might feel strange, they certainly don’t feel normal.

When we experience difficult or challenging situations so often we end up craving the way things were.

You might find yourself longing for the simple everyday things you used to do like working in an office building, travelling by train and seeing full shelves in the supermarket.

Once the situation passes you have to establish a new normal because challenges change you. It will be almost impossible to go back to the way things were because what you’re experiencing right now is significant.

We all have the opportunity to let this situation change us for the better. To become more resilient, self-aware and perhaps a little kinder or more thoughtful.

The uncomfortable feeling of choosing Plan B

But why not give it a go, after all its there for a reason.

Human beings are creatures of habit and it’s fascinating to delve into how deep this characteristic runs and how it can impact our lives.

If you’re used to going with plan A and you aren’t getting your desired results it might be worth considering plan B. It might feel strange and uncomfortable which might make you question whether it was the right choice. However, that feeling is expected when you do something you’re not used to.

You might find plan B to be the best thing you’ve done all week or just as challenging as plan A.

But the important thing is you gave it a go and embraced a different kind of way.
