I want… and I will…

A simple exercise to get your mind thinking.

It’s important to identify what you want from life because it gives you a sense of direction. It also helps in identifying what you do and don’t need in your life.

Following on from that you need to come up with an action to take. It’s all good and well wanting things but what are you going to do to make it happen.

When it comes to your wants and wills, make them as specific as possible because it’s much easier to stick to a plan that’s solid.

For example:

Want

I want to save more money.

Will

I will put money aside each month.

How much do you want to save and over what time period?

Make it specific

I want to save £500 over 6 months and I will put aside £120 every month as soon as I get paid.
