The rise of paywall content

There’s a growing number of creators wanting to be paid for what they do without relying so much on brands.

Instead, they’re turning to platforms like Substack and Patreon or creating their own membership platforms.

It allows them to create freely and cater to their audience without having to follow a brands brief and get the end product approved. It allows creators to make content that is more authentic because they’re sharing it with people that are willing to pay for it.

There’s no need to be reliant on click bait headings and heavily promoting content to boost engagement because the people that are invested are watching, listening and reading already.
